Hi,

I am new at the ip office business and came across some problems while installing a IP412.

My IP 412 is running 4.2 and my Digital expansion module 6.2. My analog module (1x 16 ports and 1x 8ports) are running 4.1.

When a analog phone is connected i have dial tone. When i make a call to another extension it returns busy. After i disconnect i am not getting a dial tone voor 2 minutes :(

I wanted to upgrade the analog units using the upgrade manager. It says it has a 6.2 version available for the Analog units but after i give the system password it returns:

"rollback available: Al units failed to tranfer"

Should i first upgrade to a middle level or what?

Thanks in advance for the feedback

If those are running 4.1 that means they really are 2.1 so yes you need to upgrade them. are you sure your using the right password? is your working directory set to the manager folder?

Thanks i had to use 'password' instead of the service password: 'Administrator'

It would have been easier if they just gave an authorization error or so.....

Now everything works fine and i am ready to go!
