Upgrading from v6.06 to Version 8 1

Hello.

Can anyone please advise me on the steps or sites to review befor i take this upgrade path.
I just want to make sure i have everything covered like expected problems or troubleshooting guides.etc.

I am currently reading and review the KB site on IPSWITCH and the V8 manual.

I went from 7 to 8 with no problems, my suggestion would be to set up 6 on a seperate server (one that you can blow away and rebuild if needed), then get that working (just make sure you can send/recieve e-mail internally) then install 8.x and all the hot fixes. Then check again, if no problems go ahead and do it on your production box.

When I upgraded from 7 to 8 I think my mail server was down for maybe 10 min at the most.
