Hi,
I recently upgraded my PDC from an NT.4 to a 2000 server. I did install AD so now i have a 2000 Server DC and i also have a NT.4 bdc running mixed mode. Before i upgraded to to 2000 Server, i had a couple of other servers which where 2000 but they were just member servers which i had attached to the NT.4 domain. Now i have a problem where i cannot add those 2 2000 servers to my AD. The DC does not allow me to attach them as servers part of the Domain. Please tell me what i may be doing wrong or what i could check.

Thanks,
Eddie

When you say you're adding them, are you trying to make these Domain Controllers? If they're still stand alones, it won't happen until you run dcpromo on the W2K machines. NT and W2K have a lot of similarities, but there not the same. Good luck. Glen A. Johnson
