I need to upgrade a Flash 2 Vm to a Flash 4 using that module that I believe snaps into the voicemail behind the removable panel.

Will that default the flash voicemail? Will I have to reprogram it completely? Is there anything else needed besides the upgrade module?

adding this module should not remove your programming. Now if the internal battery doesn't hold memory during the power cycle, you may lose programming when rebooting the machine, but just adding the module will not.

Power down, insert cartridge, power up.

Normally you wont loose programming but it depends on the age and the amount of power fails/spikes the Flash has taken over the years as it takes it's toll on the capacitor.

i moved this customer twice since 2003 with no lost programming, so hopefully this will work out nicely.
