I have come into the possesion of F/S Lifebook C series with a 4.3GB harddisk and a intel Celeron 400Mhz processor. I have formatted the harddisk and loaded windows XP. It works fine but I would like to upgrade the processor and put in a bigger harddisk is this possible?

any bidders.....thanks Denis

Bigger HDD = most definitely and usually quite easy. Also go faster, all my laptops have 7200 rpm Hitachi TravelStar drives, a little less battery but a whole lot more speed. Go here for details on the machine:

...and report back. Looks optimistic that you might be able to get some flavor of Centrino (Pentium M or Core Duo) in there, but the Celeron 400 means it is O-L-D and might not have the Intel chipset required. How difficult or easy that would be is unknown w/o model #.
