upgrading 2k Pro to xp pro

Running campatiblity test gives me a error, "setup cannot upgrade win 2k pro to xp pro"

Is this true ?

No, that is not true. You can upgrade from 2k pro to XP pro.

I'm looking into more right now, I'll get back to you shortly if nobody else does. I don't have an answer off the top of my head.

I found it under xp upgrades, say 2k pro can upgrade to xp pro, wonder why I get error running compatiblity test, I tried this on 3 diff machines ?

If you get the same error on 3 different machines, then I say go ahead and run the upgrade anyway, chances are it's going to work.

I did and durring first stage checking hardware gave me same error
