Hi
Since I've installed the exchange server service pack 2 on the server, the 2 sites that connect via VPN are no longer able to access their emails through Outlook. Previously this was fine. Now they get a 'server unavailable' message.

I'm assuming the installation has changed some setting, but I haven't a clue what. All seems ok to me in the settings.

Any experienced this, or have a solution?

Many thanks

Do they connect directly to the Exchange server with that VPN (is the server the VPN endpoint?) or are they coming in some other way (a VPN device or a VPN through another server) and then failing to reach the Exchange server over the VPN?

Is there any port filtering on the VPN? Is tcp/135 allowed?

Is the exact error "server unavailable" or is it "Unable to connect to the Exchange server"?

Lastly, there is a hotfix that is supposed to be installed before SP2. Without it, you may experience network connectivity issues.
