Hello,

I posted this in the Exchange 200 forum but on second thought, there'd probably be more info here since some of ye might have upgraded already. I was just wondering if anyone knows if its hard to do an in-place upgrade from Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2003. I'm thinking about doing it myself but I'm wondering if its a head wreck or what?
I currently run windows 2000 server and dont particularily want to upgrade to 2003 server.
Is it simply a case of placing the exchange 2003 cd in the server and following the upgrade procedures or are there m/any pitfalls along the way?
Any insight here would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers,
Leon

I meant the Exchange 2000 forum. Upgrading from Exchange 200? That'd be fun :)

The way you put your question, I really can only give you one piece of advice: don't do it if you don't know what you're doing!
Nothing in IT is ever garanteed to "a simple case of putting in the CD".
This is Exchange Server, not some upgrade of Acrobat or something trivial.
