Upgrade to 2003 from XP pro

Maybe an obvious question but can I upgrade an XP pro machine to server 2003?

I have an app on Xp that has ran great but now need >10 users. I want to upgrade and keep all the current settings. I know the app is okay for 2003.

XP is client OS, 2003 is server OS.
