We have a machine that has just the Windows server part of SBS 2003 installed but becuase of microsoft infinate wizdom in not allowing this we have 3 days left until it starts rebooting.

Is there a way of getting round this?
if not can we upgrade direct to Windows 2003 server full without lossing everything?
Or do we have to start from scratch

Cheers for any help

Thanks but that is the upgrade for the full suite, we just need Windows 2003 Server not Exchange, SQL etc..

any ideas

You could also complete the SBS setup and just not install any of the separate SBS components like Exchange. This will still implement the SBS restrictions of 75 user limit and no domain trusts, but I would think it would work.

Expensive way to get a plain Windows server with user/domain limits though...
