Hi,

I have a quick question to ask. We have upgraded our domain from Windows 2000 to Windows 2003, but we need to upgrade the domain and forest functional levels. We also need to upgrade our exchange from 2000 to 2003.

In which order is best, I am thinking of upgrading the domain functional first, leave the forest functional then install exchange 2003 on another server and then migrate to the new exchange server.

Does anyone have any advice on which order to do this
Thanks

1. Ensure all DC's are Win2k3 member servers can stay at whatever.

2. Upgrade your exchange servers 2k3.

Once everyhthing is ok upgrade the domain \ functional levels.

Obviously if you have multiple domains you can do each one after step 2 and once all your domains are 2k3 then update the forest.
