upgrade path

if you have a 2000 domain - running exchange 2000 - both products in mixed mode -what is the rcommendations

ie upgrade exchange first or upgrade the os first?

no matter waht i want clean builds so i would plan to build clean dc's etc so that they can be moved to these after the inital upgrades completed
