upgrade mics 3.0 to 6.1

is it a straight through upgrade from mics 3.0 to 6.1, and does 6.1 support flash 1.7, or only CP

STRAIGHT FROM 3.0 TO 6.1 WHILE RETAINING ALL PROGRAMMING, OR DO YOU HAVE TO GO FROM 3.0 TO 4.2 TO 6.1 CAN T REMEBER.

what i have found is the routing gets screwed up and ring groups get screwed up... make sure 6.1 is release 6.10 and if its small eneough i would just do a start up and reprog from scratch.
