Upgrade from MICS 6.1DR to 7.0 XC

We are getting ready to upgrade to XC software to allow for the second 6 port fiber card. Anything I need to look out for. Also does anyone know if I can just backup the 6.1 database and then restore from the backup to the 7.0?

Do a backup just in case, but you should just be able to plug in the new 7.0xc and it will upgrade just fine. Do the software upgrade first, then after it comes up power down and add the expansion.
