Upgrade FC4700-1 to FC4700-2 1

I have a FC4700-1 and would like to upgrade it to FC4700-2. I have the correct 2GB HBA's to install. Does anyone have experience with doing this?

hello yes it works fine if you find the right tachon adapter. there are several at ebay. i bought some for 15 usd. i hope the flare is on the right level. you can than change the speed under the navisphere sp menu

It works. Base must be 8.43 or higher and 2G cards installed. I used CLI with the "spportspeed" command. Talks at 2G now.
