Updating MDAC

I've trie to update MDAC from v. 2.6 to v. 2.7, but it isn't working.

I've run a version checker(MDAC component checker) before and after, and it shows that the versions don't change. It also shows many errors. It looks like it is expecting one version of a file, and see's another.

Upon closer inspection - it is looking for the 2.6 version and seeing the 2.7 version.

I must be missing a step somewhere. Any Ideas?
