updating a 2nd table from a form

Is there a way to use code to update a field in another table when a different table is updated from a form.

When a record is added to table1 from a form update a field also is table2.

Easiest way is to have an SQL UPDATE command on one of the After properties of the form, depending upon your need.

ie.
UPDATE Table2
SET Fielda=?
WHERE X=Y?
