update query

I want to make an update query update the grossprice with 1,0 however the update query does not open. What may be the reason ? My query is :
UPDATE products SET products.grossprice = products.grossprice+2;

How did you try to open this query? Did you use the exclamation mark (!) in the query design window, for example?

Seems like you've disabled some warnings.
Usually an update query popups a confirmation box.
