Update Query to update sums in table

Does anyone know what update query to use to update fields in a table.&nbsp;&nbsp;I did it once before and know that I had to run an update query for the first sum and then a second one for the second sum Such as field 1 + field 2 + field 3 gave me a total field that updated table then a second one using total field minus amount paid which gave me a balance due field.&nbsp;&nbsp;Any help is much appreciated!!!!<br><br><A HREF="mailto:MarilynZar@aol.com">MarilynZar@aol.com</A>
 
An update query will work fine.<br><br>All you have to do is create a new query,<br>make it an update query,<br>pull down the field you want updated,<br>And in the Update To row, enter what you want it updated to: ([Field1]+[Field2]) or whatever.<br><br>You can do more than one field at a time too, pull down all the fields you want, and update them all at once.<br><br>I think that is what you are asking, but not positive.<br><br>Hope this helps <p>Jim Lunde<br><a href=mailto:compugeeks@hotmail.com>compugeeks@hotmail.com</a><br><a href= Application Development
