Hi

I am using UD4 and have a problem with the update record function. I have an Access 2k db with two fields ID and Name. The ID is a unique primary key, which is a AutoNumber. However when I try to update the Name field I get an error "Please choose a unique key from the selected recordset, or click Cancel". I have selected the ID field as the unique value and selected Numeric. I dont understand why I get this error

Please help

Thanks in advance

Indy

Do You mean when you are making the page?

Or submitting the form on an uploaded page?

I am creating the page in Ultradev

hmm ok. I ran into this problem myself many times. with mine I had to upgrade from a Access97 to Access2K. but where you are already Access2K.

Only thing I can suggest - try to create one on a totally blank page. Keep trying.

Sorry I can't help more
