Update OS for xp pro and home from 2003 server

Hi everyone, I want to have new computers connect to my 2003 SBS and have updates (either install sp2 or post sp2 patches). Currently I have dhcp running and connect to the server START->RUN-> but is such a pain because some computers already have sp2 installed. Ruled out SUS -> wont do XP HOME. Is there a program out there thats makes life easier???? ANy info would be awesome!
