Update field with user input

I want to update a field named plan_selected with a number entered by the user. Is there a way to do it?

I have my update query, but when I tried to update to:

["Enter plan number"] it didn't update anything. I do have a row selected to update, but still nothing.

Where do you have ["Enter plan number"] in the criteria row or in the Update row of the query grid?

I had it in the Update row of the query grid. My table needed a different field to select the row to update, so now it works. I just figured it out! Thanks!
