Update details on many reports at once

Does anyone know how to update details on more than one report at as time (I'm not mad - hear me out!)

I know of an issue with Crystal Reports 8.0 where exporting to Excel XP produces an error. This is due to the "Title" field in the summary details screen being blank - it uses this to set the sheet name in excel.

We have loads of reports that would have this problem when updgrading to XP, so a utility that would default the title to (for example) the report filename would be very handy!

I know of one utility by a Crystal Partner. I saw a demonstration on it at a local users group meeting. The tool is call .rpt Inspector by a company called Software Forces (

http://www.softwareforces.com).

The tool looked really good an we are considering buying it here. It allows you to see the different properties of as many reports as you would like at the same time. This tool should accomplish your problem and it is resonibly priced ($295 US last time I checked).

I dont't know of anyother tools, but if anyone else knows of some, I would be interested in hearing about them.
