Hi Folks.

I have a requirement where my ASP needs to start a database update on the server that can take a while to complete. How, as the update progesses on the server, can I let the user know it is working?

I'm using ASP, HTML, and VBscript, plus a little Java. I'm not an expert either so I'm looking for a little help.

Thank you,
TwoGoldens

I'll assume you meant JavaScript and not Java
