Update ADO or DAO ???

Hello there,
I'm writing a database program ...
I used ADO and Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0 for opening my Access 2000 database ...

I must install Jet 4.0 for using Access 2000 ???
or MSDAC 2.6 (SP2) ???

I downloaded both of them, but i want to know which of them is neccessery to install for using ADO with Access 2000 ?

MDAC is what you need. It will provide you a way to connect to Access 2000, or 2002 as well as many other data sources. It comes standard in Win 2K and above.

MDAC Version 2.6 and Later Do Not Contain Jet or Desktop ODBC Drivers

Hello again,
I have question about Microsoft JET engine ...
Could tell me what's the reason to update Jet engine when i installed MDAC 2.6 or later ???
