Hi all.

When I do not use the computer for about 15 minutes It goes into sleep mode. And this while all power saving features are turned off!!! (you know, control panel>power>always on etc...). What is very annoying is that somethimes I got to coldboot to wake It up (very cold indeed, with the on-off switch, buaaaark). And even when It wakes up normally, like by moving the mouse, windows has apparently lost the monitor settings. It has changed to standard monitor, with the low refresh rate dat goes with it!!!!
I made this computer for my ex- girlfriend, you can imagine the situation (feeling kind of responsible, haha).
details: win98 se. Thunderbird 1200 on sys735 chipset. Nvidea Gforce2MX 400. Onboard sound. Monitor: Iiyama 17".
Power saving features are also disabeld in bios, exept for "acpi aware (or capable) OS".
Monitor and tower have different power leads.

Thanx in advance for your help

If you haven't already, disable the Advanced power management in the BIOS. This should keep it from causing the problem. Hope this helps.
