Unwanted MSI Remote CD-Rom Device

Hello all,

I am running Windows 98 2nd Ed. I have a mysterious CD-ROM drive listed in Windows Explorer as well as the Device Manager. The Device Manager identifies this drive as a "MSI Remote CD-ROM." I can successfully remove this drive, but upon reboot, it comes back. If anyone could help me permanently remove this drive, I would greatly appreciate it!
