I'm using option buttons on a sheet (Excel 97), and I can't get rid of the white background of the button when I use a color sheet background. Any ideas?

Hi there,

right click in the option button area, and choose format control, it will enable you to set the background to any color desired (same color as worksheet)

with regards

Mike

I got it figured...tranparent doesn't help, but setting the backcolor palette to match the background (or vice-v) does it. Thanks

It may depend on whether I install the button on the sheet and then color the block, or install the button on the colored sheet. Its no biggy, but I seem unable to get rid of the object background fully.

While we are at it, is there anyway to fix the button in the grid, so that it lines of horizontally. Verticle OK, but tedious to have to align horiz...also can I set default sizes for buttons? I'm having set properties on each one. Thanks
