Unusual loss of connectivity

I have an Indy running IRIX 6.5, with default web daemons running, web, ftp, telnet, etc. From time to time, usually after the machine has been on for a few hours, the network daemons just seem to stop responding. The machine can be pinged, but the telnet, webserver, etc will not respond.

This seems to happen randomly. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Also, does anyone knows of some good free software for streaming video (live) available for IRIX.
