Unused Tables

Hello,
Sorry but this may be a rookie question.
I'm working with SQL Server 2000 and was wondering if there is a way to find out when a table was last used, i.e. inserted, updated or deleted.
I would like to know this because I have some old tables that I don't think are used anymore and I would like to delete them.
If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.
