Unspecified Error

My computer with XP home and Office Professional 2003 gets an "specified error" when I try to send an e-mail. I can get e-mails, but can not send. I have totally removed Office, and re-installed. I have check everything; but I can not fix the problem. There are more problems, but one a a time.

MAPI failure" comes up with the term "Unspecified error" on several MSKB articles, have you double checked your E-mail Account setup?

Are there any errors relating to this fault or other unmentioned faults in your Event Viewer?

Perhaps you might like to tell the story of all your problems as it may prompt a solution to fix everything in one go, like a operating reinstall for example?

Make sure your firewall is not blocking ICMP router discovery traffic. On the XP SP2 firewall, this is called "allow incoming router request."
