Hi,
Under "TCP/IP properties" > "WINS Address" there is the check-box "Enable DNS for Windows Name Resolution".
This has become unset. (It should be ticked - it isn't).
If I change this, I get two dialogs telling me that there is no WINS address for my adapter and then an invitation to reboot the server. So, I can't have unset this myself without noticing! ! !
Is there any other way that might have become unset? Other than hacking the resgistry?
Thanks - DaPi
