I`m not sure, and can anyone tell me is it allowable tu pull out WAN card with serial ports, while router is working ( with another card with two ports).

Hi Jan,

It depends on the router, the 7200 has hot swappable cards, but the lower end routers such as 1600, 1700 3600 dont, you have to power the box down first.

I have to say that if I'm working on mission critical systems, I always recommend that the router is taken out of service before any cards are swapped. It may say hot swappable on the box but its you who gets it in the neck if it falls over!
