unmountable_boot_drive

hi, I have a new system, I installed windows xp on it, and when I finished installing, it work fine, for a day, but now, I cant boot up, it gives me a blue screen with the message: unmountable_boot_drive,

I want to note that if I go into safe mode, it wont do that,
can somebody help me with this problem?

Try to uninstall the ide controller driver in safemode.
Make sure you have the right driver when you install it again.

I have had this before when I lost power when the hard drives were active (I'll get a UPS one day). I had to remake the partition and install windows again. Although thats probably not what you wanted to hear.
