Unknown Memeber Error ?

Below is the error I am recieving on a form. The form runs correctly until you close it, once you close it you can not reopen it without having to close the entire application. I have no code in the init of this form or the load. I utilize a filter to limit the data but that is executes from a command button. The first time you run it 100% sweet!!!!!!!!!!! after that 0, zip, notta, zilch !! Any ideas ?


Error loading file - record number 8. Search_Form <or one of its members>. Loading form or the data environment: Unknown member Requesters_Last_name

P.S. If you click ignore then reopen the form (ignore shows no form) the form runs fine also.

Hi Lashwarj

You are opening a view in the Data ebvironment or possibly set a filter to some table in the data environment.

The first time you are loading, the variable is made available so that the filtered view or table is able to validate the filter conditions. However, when you release the form, probably you are releasing this public variable unaware.

And that is creating the problem, since the second time the filter conditions could not be evaluated.

There is a heavy assumtion from my side. Check the possibilties if this idea helps you

All set sorry I didnt post sooner. I simply had to set filter to in table, all set but thank you.
