Hi,

I posted this earlier, and I am kind of in a bind. I am building an app in VB6 Enterprise SP5, connecting to an Access 2002 DB using ADO(my machine is running XP Pro, and Office XP). I have one ADO Data Control connected to the DB with DataCombo displaying the contents of a field from one table in the DB. I placed another ADO Data Control on the form connected to the same DB and another DataCombo to display the records in another table from the same DB. I am setting the properties of the 2nd DataCombo at design time, just as I did with the first ADO Data Control, and when I choose the second ADO Data Control as the RowSource, I am getting the following error for the second ado data control"[ADODC]:Unknown error.[ADO]:" Prior to this, I just had the one ADO data control and one Datacombo and it worked fine at run time. As a side note, I am using Microsoft Jet 4.0 OLE as my Data Provider for the connection.

Do anyone know why this is happening? I have tried many different settings to try to fix this, and nothing works.

Please help

Rob

I figured it out. The name of the table as the RecordSource was Position. Once I changed the table name to Positions, it worked. I guess Position is a reserved word.
