uniVerse Database / PROC Question

Can anyone answer this question I have regarding IBM's uniVerse database (more particualrly PROCs)? If not can someone please suggest or point me in the direction of a good discussion forum for just that? Here's the question part: when in a PROC is there a way to perform a table lookup using a value currently stored on the primary stack? I'm trying to use an user exit code to do this (i.e. U01AD) but I don't know how to create the table lookup line with the value from the stack on the same line. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
