Universal Trunk Card - Basic Question

Installing a card for the first time...I have all of the programming info but my simple question is, which slot do I put the card into and once I slide it in, is there anything in particular I need to do. It's an opt 11, 2 cabs.

Your next spare slot in the 2nd cabinet would be fine. Just remember the punchdowns are different on the UTC than on a DLC or analog.

Did that. The card shows a red light. Console had the following when I popped in the card:

disregard last post...no more red light, however, when i do

nothing shows...how do i know that the pbx has recognized the card?

What happens when you do a Stat 15

XMI0002 l s c = Card polling re-established.

so it sees the card, you need to check your programming.

You need to program a trunk first before the system enables it.
