Hey everyone,
I know the subject of creating one image for multiple models of pc has been discussed lots of times, but I would like to take it a little further, as I am having problems. I ave done an image that covers arount 12 different models of pc. The image I have done has been out there and working ok, however, I have just done a new image with all the updates to antivirus java etc. I have followed my same documented process while syspreping the image, but now it doesnt work! It goes as far as loading mup.sys and then fails on the next thing... what ever that is and the pc just reboots.
Im assuming its a driver I havent uninstalled before I did the sysprep? So... How does everyone else do it? I remove the drivers for Disk drives, Display adapter, network adapter, processor, sound driver, model specific controllers in system devices. I also have the image set with a multiproccessor HAL type with downgrade option in the sysprep.inf
If someone could help me with this that would be great!
Thanks
Wazz
