I have a union query that is combining time fields. The format of the original fields is short time. However, when I run the union query it changes all of the time fields to long time. Is there any way I can prevent this?

The format in which a computed time field is displayed is determined by your system settings. Go to / Start / Control Panel / Regional Settings / Date to change it.

Alternatively, you can format the output directly in your SQL using something like

Format ( ComputedDate, "mm/dd/yy" )

Thanks, formating the output directly in SQL solved the problem.
