Uninstalling windows 2000 from a dual boot computer

I have partition on my c drive with dual boot - windows xp and windows 2000. I want to uninstall windows 2000 and remove the option of dual boot. How do I do this?

boot to xp, edit boot.ini, delete the windows 2000 lines and ensure the default line is the XP line.

Delete the windows 2000 folder.
