We are migrating from 5.5 to 2003 and despite all testing have hit a problem so that we think the best solution will be to uninstall exchange 2003 and start over. We have just setup the connection agreements on the 2003 server and have not yet transfered any public folders or users mail, therefore the exchange server is blank. We have already reinstalled but this did not solve the problem,
how safe is it to uninstall Exchange 2003?
Wipe the server and reinstall Win2003?
if I did the above what impact would this have on the ADC/forest prep/domain prep that has already been run?
In case you were wondering we had an error whilst installing Exchange 2003 "Setup failed while installing sub-component Microsoft Exchange Organization-Level Container Children with error code 0x8007202B" I think it was cause by the 5.5 service account not having full enterprise rights. In addition we had antivirus running during the install. Now I get loads of errors which I can see little references to searching google.
Many thanks in advance
