Uninstall office completely?

I've got a user with Japanese Office 2000 Professional. All the apps error out right after I start them. I've done uninstall and reinstall but the problem persists. How can I get rid of office completely and start from scratch without reformatting the hard drive?

The link is a removal download provided by Microsoft. I have never used it. Hope it works for you.
