Uninstall Brightstor v 11.5

I have searched the other posts and i am unable to find an answer can someone help.

I have a Dell Powervault 745 with Brightstor 11.5 on it but there has been problems with the database engine (when asked on here got a very snotty reply saying search previous posts which i always do first).

I am now trying to uninstall the program to try reinstalling it. It is saying that process' are still running so it wont uninstall. I have stopped all obvious services and cant see anything under task manager that would be Brightstor. Can anyone help?

Hi djbourne - would booting into safe mode help?

Otherwise you might like to have a look at sysinternals process explorer:

http://www.sysinternals.com/

to see if you can identify the affected processes.

Hi

Do the Cstop to stop all the services, once done also check
if you have any igateway process, any process starting with letter ca running on the task manager .Then try to uninstall .

Also check if you are able to rename Brightstor folder under the windows explorer , may be any process must be locking it . try to kill that process , else reboot the machine and uninstall...
