UNFORMATTING A HARD DRIVE 1

Anyone knows of a good software to unformatt a HARD DISK ? I found a company over the internet , but it wanted $290 for the program. Anyone knows anything cheaper of FREE ? Tks!

Thanks Wulluf, but I need something to RECOVER the data that was written onto the HD before it was FORMATTED. Any suggestions ?

There are lots of data recovery apps (if you said what you wanted!) - there's a free one here -

and you can Google to find numerous commercial ones at various prices. There are also a number of posts on these forums from people who've had success.
