Is there any way to find unequipped analog ports? I know that when testing, I can sometimes see whether the pbx thinks there's something on the end of the analog line... is there a report or something?

I've gone through the error list looking at 513s on digital stations, but there appear to be no analogs in that list.

Thanks so much for any help!

Not really.

The analog testing feature sends out a test pulse, and sees if it gets anything back. If it does, the PBX supposes that there's an analog device attached at the other end.

However, many new electronic systems will fail this test, even though they're connected. They're just not designed to return the test pulse.

Carpe dialem! (Seize the line!)

If the 'test' field is set to 'n' on the analog station form the PBX doesn't look at it at all. Otherwise it will show up as a Warning.
