If your Administrator set your Exchange up to allow them to be recovered. Click once on your Deleted Items mailbox then go to Tools and you should see "Recover deleted items". This can be set for 1 day or 30 days or whatever. If it is not set then talk to your Administrator about doing a mailbox recovery for the night before you deleted them. Hope this helps

If anyone calls and says "I know a little something about computers" just tell them to reformat it.

That is assuming there is an Exchange Server ..

If not .. too bad .. sorry

If 'something' 'somewhere' gives 'some' error, expect random guesses or no replies at all. Please specify details.

What version of Exchange? 5.5, 2000 or 2003?

I'll let marc get that I have never seen Exchange 2000. Sorry I am no help.

In Exchange System manager go to Administravie groups - and drill down the tree uptill your First Storage Group.
In there is you Mailbox store, right-click and select Properties.
In the Limits tab, you can set the numer of days to keep Deleted Items and Mailboxes.
Set the Deleted Items to some days (5 - 7).
You can also check the borrom checkbox, to keep mailboxes and items untill backed-up, but beware diskspace if you set that without performing a backup and clearing the flags.
