hi

I created a domain as a test and then decomissioned the PDC (the only server). The domain still shows up in Network Neighbourhood and has been there for 3 days even though it does not exist.

does anyone know how i can remove it from the network neighbourhood browse list please?

thanks

Are the client machines still attempting to connect to a domain, or to a peer to peer network (workgroup)

the domain was created as a test domain. no clients connect to it and the domain controller (the only one) has been formatted.

it was the only computer in the domain.

thanks again
