I hope some of you Exchange Admins might be able to help me.
Some people (and it is random people) are getting this message bounced back to them when they try to email anyone in my company from the "outside" world.
----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
<FDB@myserver.com>
----- Transcript of session follows -----
553 <FDB@myserver.com>... unauthorized relay traffic prohibited
554 <FDB@myserver.com>... Service unavailable
Some people are able to send email to my server one day, then the next they get this message. There is no pattern that I can discern. I am not seeing any errors in my event viewer other than a Browser Service error, which is attributable to something else. I am running E2K on W2K Advanced Server. I also have a Cisco PIX 515 firewall.
Can anyone help me, perchance? This is very perplexing.
TIA
Fred
