Unable to up the selected drve

Hi

We recently installed Netbackup 4.5, 2 windows media servers (on SAN), loads of clients, backing up to Dell 136t. This worked nicely for about two weeks, then all of a sudden we could not backup through one of the media servers. The library has 2 tape drives which are set to shared.

Both tape drives are up on one media server but on the other they are both down. When I try to up the drive I get the error 'unable to up the selected drive, the drive is not ready or inoperable (227).

I have restarted all parts of the system and looked on the veritas knowledgebase but no solution.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

check the drive mapping!

also check the SSO manual for proper configuration.
It should be on the install CD under docs
